Quickstart: n8n

One field. No custom node. Open your OpenAI credential in n8n and paste your Airmet sidecar’s URL into Base URL. Every AI node in every workflow runs through the sidecar from the next run.

Because Airmet is OpenAI-compatible HTTP, n8n cannot tell the difference — it sees one response per call, from whichever leg answered first. Tool-calling workflows are safe: only the winner’s tool calls are ever returned, so your workflow executes each action exactly once.
